SHOW NOTES
Who is Remington? [0:10]
Former manager at Koko Heights from 2013 to mid 2016
He has returned, better than ever, as manager of Koko Heights
Additionally, we are excited to announce he is as a co-owner of Koko Heights
What brought Remington back to Koko? [00:45]
He missed the people!
Remington is the definition of a “people person”
He has a passion for helping others and missed those relationships
“I will do whatever it takes to win your love and loyalty back!”
Where did he go when he left Koko? [1:45]
Pursued another passion, art and design
Worked as an art director and graphic designer for a small local company
Pursuing this passion, however, helped him to realize that his #1 passion in life is helping others
He got to experience this on a very personal level while managing Koko which ultimately led to his decision to return to Koko Heights
“I realized that what I liked even more than making art and design was literally making a difference in people’s lives, and that is what Koko does, and so I just had to come back and be a part of that again.”
Remington’s goals as the new owner/manager of Koko [3:00]
1. Build a strong sense of community within the club
First, he plans to get to know the members and staff on a personal level, their needs, wants, goals and ambitions
Secondly, he plans to organize events outside the club: hiking, adventures, obstacle runs, boot camps, and other fun things outside the club where we can enjoy our fitness journey together
2. Build an online community with valuable and consistent content
A member facing website that provides Koko members with valuable, relevant, weekly content
Content will provide insight and resources to help you navigate your health journey
The new website will be a place where you can connect with others and celebrate each other’s accomplishments and encourage others on their path
“Online is where the other half of our lives are lived...so we want to meet you where you are”

Introducing KokoPod
What is a podcast? A longer form conversation on topics that go beyond the surface level that can be accessed on your own time right from your phone or computer
We believe in this medium of communication because it allows for the ability to go deeper on a topic that deserves more than a 2 minute conversation which in many cases is all people have time for within their busy day
We plan to use this form of media to answer many of the common questions related health/fitness/wellness as well as to communicate
Once we get rolling we are hoping for a weekly episode of KokoPod
Stay tuned for more!
______
Remington could not be more anxious and excited to meet all of you!
Thanks for reading and listening!
